Position Title: Senior Accountant

Location: The Woodlands, TX (Onsite or Hybrid)

Department: Shared Service Center / Finance & Accounting

Reports To: Director SSC

Join Bilfinger’s finance team in The Woodlands as a Senior Accountant. You’ll manage full-cycle accounting responsibilities—from general ledger maintenance and month‑end/year‑end close to financial reporting, fixed assets, and treasury activities. Dive into data analysis and help enhance our shared‑service center operations.

• Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, including fixed assets, depreciation, intercompany, and treasury postings.
• Maintain fixed asset register compliant with US GAAP, IFRS & tax requirements.
• Perform weekly/monthly bank reconciliations and cash management.
• Support internal & external audits and document SOPs and accounting procedures.
• Analyze ledger variances and deliver insights to management.
• Support ad‑hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–7 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in industrial construction or services.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP (IFRS familiarity preferred).
• Proficient in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
