We’re searching for a Certified Sterile Processing Technician, someone who works well in a fast‑paced setting. In this position you will provide efficient processing of instruments and sterilization throughout the hospital.

• Processes decontaminated medical devices as they are received, according to established priorities, IFUs and best practices.
• Receives instruments from the decontamination area and processes appropriately.
• Performs physical and environmental duties on a routine daily basis, including cleaning work spaces, instrument rooms, cabinets, emptying biohazard waste, monitoring sterilizers and checking environmental monitors.
• Completes sterilization processes.
• Performs high‑level disinfection.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including other essential instrument room duties.

• Preferred Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED.
• License
  
  Required:
  
  CRCST – Certified Sterile Processing Technician by the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association, OR CSPDT – Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
