Job Summary
The Senior Risk Coordinator serves as a security and risk subject matter expert to manage security risk and align to the Enterprise Security Program’s security risk agenda via coordinating cyber and physical risk management processes and data presented to executive management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance risk assessment programs for emerging technologies, critical infrastructure protection, logical cyber and physical security controls, and data protection measures.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize risk treatment and conduct security reviews of corporate and operational technology infrastructure.
• Develop and acquire expertise in technology and regulations to ensure Entergy’s security posture aligns to target risk thresholds.
• Provide security risk expertise and guidance to enterprise and operational technology stakeholders.
• Execute security risk management practices and implementation of security policies and requirements.
• Lead and drive the creation, maintenance, and implementation of enterprise, operational, and critical infrastructure protection risk activities.
• Apply cybersecurity & risk management framework knowledge to drive enterprise risk identification.
• Design and communicate risk details during risk ranking sessions and track risk metrics via KRI and reporting dashboards.
• Coordinate with CSO functions and Lines of Business to address security gaps and guide mitigation strategies.
• Develop and assist in data and risk management process and procedure development.
• Assist in data protection and privacy program governance and oversight activities.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Assurance, Risk Management or related field.
5+ years of information security, critical information protection, risk management, data analysis, or project management experience.
Planning, organizational and project management skills; detail and process-oriented; ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving/decision making ability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and teamwork, facilitation and negotiation skills.
Highly collaborative cross‑functional teamwork and relationship forging ability.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Understanding of risk management frameworks (NIST, COSO, The Open FAIR, etc.).
Knowledge of logical and physical security technologies and controls (NIST CSF, NIST 800‑53, etc.).
Knowledge of privacy protection best practices and technical requirements.
Experience with GRC platforms, Microsoft Power BI or other data analytics tools.

Certifications (Desired)
CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CGEIT, CISA, CPP, and other enterprise risk and security certifications.
