Network Analyst, Sr – IS – Network Support

Texas Children's Hospital seeks a Senior Network Analyst to support local and wide area networks, including Wi‑Fi, through installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the institutional data network. The role requires a fast‑paced environment and collaboration with multiple teams.

• Resolve complex technical issues involving network equipment, software, high‑availability applications, clustered hosts in a multi‑protocol, mixed‑media environment.
• Participate in the resolution of complex issues with multiple applications, systems, and technical teams following departmental crisis‑management guidelines.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, packet‑capture analysis, and root‑cause analysis across routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Support network lifecycle activities including technology evaluation, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning.
• Monitor network performance and capacity, identify trends, and recommend proactive improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships and carrier engagements, including troubleshooting and escalations.
• Ensure network designs and operations align with security, compliance, and business continuity requirements.
• Develop and maintain network architecture standards, diagrams, configurations, and operational documentation.
• Maintain network equipment and hot‑spare device inventory.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and provide after‑hours support as required.
• Install and configure network hardware.
• Meet the physical requirement to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Perform other essential job‑related duties.

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Seven years of experience in information systems (required).
• Associate degree substitutes two years of experience; bachelor’s degree substitutes four years; master’s degree substitutes two years of experience.
• Current vendor/industry certifications are a plus.
