RSI Logistics,recently acquired by Trinity Industries Inc.,is looking for a
Freight Payment Coordinator
.The Freight Payment Coordinator’s primary objective is to manage the freight accrual exception process for rail shipments and activity.
- Identify empty and tariff rates as needed and upload into database.
- Utilize EDI 404/417 to confirm Payer of Freight as needed.
- Manage accrual without invoice exceptions.
- Resolve accrual and invoice non-match exceptions. Dispute as needed.
- Create ad hoc reports.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in rail operations, freight payment or accounting.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- General understanding of accounting practices.
- System savvy (prior ERP experience or Rail TMS experience highly preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
