** Job Summary
** This Neuroscience ICU is a 22 bed unit with a 1:2 nurse to patient ratio.  Looking for nurses with a specific interest &/or passion in Neuro  BSN because of Magnet status  2+ years of Critical Care experience required  Patient types include:
Critical Care management with multi-modality approach Critical Stroke (at least 14 days) Airway support Status Epilepticus Neuro surgical patients Brain biopsy, debulking and re-sectioning Traumatic head bleeds (Ventriculosomy): patients w/brain bleeds requiring specialized management Critical spinal fusion patients Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital is among an elite group of facilities nationwide that has received Magnet recognition (3X) for excellence in nursing services by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program.
