You’ll begin in Inside Sales
, managing customer accounts, supporting Outside Sales, and gaining exposure to our operations and markets. After 1–2+ years of successful development, you’ll transition into Outside Sales
, taking ownership of a territory and building long‑term customer relationships.

- Collaborate closely with operations, logistics, and scheduling teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Deliver accurate and timely order entry, pricing, and customer communication.
- Identify cross‑selling opportunities across product families.
- Support leadership with data analysis, customer insights, and forecasting activities.
- Participate in leadership development sessions and cross‑functional projects.
- Join commercial ride‑alongs and customer visits (1–3 overnight trips per month) to gain hands‑on sales experience from seasoned mentors.
- Take ownership of an assigned territory, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Drive profitable sales growth through account management, business development, and cross‑family selling.
- Mentor new Inside Sales teammates and support their development.
- Represent WMC at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Years 1–2: Inside Sales – Account management, commercial development, and analytical support for leadership.
- Year 2+: Transition to Outside Sales, subject to performance.
- Gain broad exposure to multiple product lines, markets, and customers.
