Freight Logistics Coordinator

RSI Logistics, recently acquired by Trinity Industries Inc., is looking for a Freight Payment Coordinator
. The Freight Payment Coordinator’s primary objective is to manage the freight accrual exception process for rail shipments and activity.

• Identify empty and tariff rates as needed and upload into database
• Utilize EDI 404/417 to confirm Payer of Freight as needed
• Manage accrual without invoice exceptions
• Resolve accrual and invoice non-match exceptions. Dispute as needed
• Create ad hoc reports

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in rail operations, freight payment or accounting
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• General understanding of accounting practices
• System savvy (prior ERP experience or Rail TMS experience highly preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
