Overview

CHARCO Security is looking for several motivated, versatile, and on-call security guards for various assignments in Thetford Mines.

Description of assignments:

Corporate and commercial security
:
Preventive rounds, access control, customer service — tasks vary depending on the company’s needs.

Event security
:
Ensure the safety of participants and the site during festivals, shows, and other public events.

Detainee Monitoring (in partnership with the Sûreté du Québec):
Monitoring is done via cameras with no direct contact. You will notify the SQ in case of any suspicious behavior. The only contact with the detainee occurs during meal delivery, through a small window in the cell door, without any physical interaction.

• Salary
  :
  Starting at $20.00/hour + bonuses depending on assignments
• Hours
  : up to 40 hours/week depending on needs
• Schedule
  : day, evening, night shifts – from Monday to Sunday
• Status
  : on-call, ideal for candidates who are flexible and available

• Valid security guard license
• Valid first aid certification
• Excellent command of French (spoken and written)
• Clear criminal record and ability to pass a thorough background check
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods (4 to 12 hours)
• Ability to write detailed reports (hourly during the day, every 30 minutes at night)
• Strong customer service skills
