With an exciting defence project in Lakenheath, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in safely delivering a multi-disciplinary programme of works.

As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of a defence-sector project in Lakenheath, encompassing civil engineering, building and M&E works.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a critical defence programme that will leave a lasting legacy while contributing to critical national infrastructure.

About you

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Project Manager who enjoys leading teams, solving complex challenges and delivering successful outcomes in demanding environments.

You will ideally possess:

Proven experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment.
Experience delivering projects that include a combination of civils, building and M&E works.
A strong understanding of project planning, programme management, commercial awareness and risk management.
Experience working on defence, secure government, infrastructure or highly regulated projects would be advantageous.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to build high-performing teams and foster collaborative working relationships.
Strong contractual and commercial understanding, including NEC forms of contract.
A track record of delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain the relevant security clearance required for defence-sector projects.
