Are you a passionate, adaptable teacher looking for flexibility, stability, or a mix of both? We are looking for dedicated supply teachers to join our team to work in and around the Thetford area on a part-time or full-time basis.
Whether you are an experienced teacher or an early career teacher (ECT), we can offer ad hoc supply, short-term cover, and long-term positions to suit your skills, availability and career goals.
What Do Supply Teaching Roles Involve?
Ad Hoc & Short-Term Supply
In day-to-day or short-term assignments, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning. You will deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of year groups, manage classroom behaviour, and support pupils’ learning in different school environments. These roles offer excellent flexibility and work-life balance.
Long-Term Supply
Long-term supply roles provide stability and consistency for schools and pupils. Assignments can range from a few weeks to several months (or longer) and may be part-time or full-time. You will plan and deliver lessons, manage the classroom, assess progress and work closely with school staff to support student achievement.
Key Responsibilities (Role Dependent)
* Deliver high-quality lessons
* Plan and prepare lessons for long-term roles
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
* Support students of varying abilities and encourage academic progress
* Build collaborative relationships with pupils, staff and school leadership
* Adapt promptly to different schools, settings and year groups
What We Are Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, Further Education (FE) qualification, or equivalent
* Experience in primary and/or secondary education
* Good classroom management skills
* A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed
* Flexibility, reliability and adaptability
* Excellent communication and organisational skills

Returning from Overseas?
If you have been overseas for six months or more, you will need an overseas police check before returning to work. If you need support with this, we are happy to guide you through the process.
Registration & DBS
Registration is subject to a right-to-work check, references, and an enhanced DBS check for the child workforce registered with the Update Service. We can process a new DBS for you if required.
