Hales Group are recruiting on behalf of our established client for a Hygiene Operator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all production areas, equipment, and facilities meet the highest hygiene and sanitation standards. This role plays a vital part in maintaining product safety, supporting audit compliance, and promoting a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out scheduled cleaning of production lines, food-contact surfaces, machinery, and surrounding areas.
Safely dismantle and reassemble equipment for deep cleaning in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Operate cleaning equipment and use hygiene chemicals safely, including CIP systems, foaming equipment, and disinfectants.
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the required standards and within designated timescales.
Dispose of waste materials in line with company procedures and environmental guidelines.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the facility.  Health & Safety:  
Adhere to all company health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
Wear and maintain the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Handle cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with COSHH guidelines.  Candidate Requirements:  
Previous experience in a hygiene, cleaning, or food production environment is desirable.
Good understanding of hygiene standards and food safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
Reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
