Driver - Class 2 Nights

Position: DRIVER - CLASS 2 NIGHTS
DELIVERY DRIVER - MUST HAVE CLASS 2 - NIGHTS - PERMANENT - BASED THETFORD AREA - £13.75- £17.19 PER HOUR - DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver Class 2 to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to their customers while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.
Duties
Safely operate a 12t curtain sider truck for deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Days runs into working away from site 3-4 nights per week (Night Out premium applies)
Load and unload goods from the vehicle, handball and/or palletised, ensuring items are secured properly for transport.
Navigate assigned delivery routes efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery schedules.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from customers
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered during transit.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Class 2 Delivery Driver in a similar role is essential.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is required.
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is desirable.
Capability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed throughout the day.

Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roads is beneficial.
