Transport Manager

KL Talent Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Transport Managerto take responsibility for the operational management of a group of transport depots.

This is a hands-on management role with responsibility acrosstransport operations, compliance, people management, fleet performance and cost control. You'll have oversight of multiple depot locations, including their drivers, vehicles and operational resources.

Our client operates a mixed fleet of rigid and articulated vehicles across both day and night operations, so we're looking for somebody who is comfortable in a busy transport environment and knows what good looks like when it comes to safety, compliance and operational performance.

Operational Management

• Managing the day-to-day operation of approx three depot locations.
• Providing visible, hands-on leadership across your assigned sites.
• Ensuring consistently high standards of safety, compliance, customer service and operational performance.
• Managing resources effectively across depots to maintain service levels.
• Providing on-call support for driver and vehicle emergencies when required.
