Hales Group are recruiting on behalf of a well established client in the Thetford area. This is a key logistics position responsible for managing incoming stock. Duties include processing deliveries, inspecting goods, verifying paperwork, and updating inventory systems to support smooth supply chain operations.
Essential Requirements:
- Forklift licence
- Basic computer skills
- Good level of fitness (role involves manual handling)
- Strong attention to detail
Core Responsibilities:
- Unloading, checking, and logging incoming deliveries
- Verifying shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Inspecting goods for any damage or discrepancies
- Updating stock levels using SAP and Excel systems
- Organising goods into storage or designated areas
- Managing delivery paperwork and reporting discrepancies
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
