About The Role: The LPN or CMA – Cardiology Float provides nursing and clinical support across multiple CIS clinics. Responsibilities include patient intake, documentation, injections, EKGs, Coumadin management, and patient education, following cardiology protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform triage, document patient info, support physicians, and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Support patient education and manage medical records and forms.
- Assist with diagnostic tests, monitor devices, and support patient mobility.
- Perform front-office duties as needed, including scheduling and insurance verification.
- Travel to various clinics to support team operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and current LPN license in Louisiana OR Medical Assistant certification (CCMA, RMA, CMA, NCMA).
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- Clinical skills in triage, EKGs, injections, venipuncture, and EMR systems.
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel between clinics.
