About The Role: The LPN or CMA – Cardiology Float provides nursing and clinical support across multiple CIS clinics. Responsibilities include patient intake, documentation, injections, EKGs, Coumadin management, and patient education, following cardiology protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform triage, document patient info, support physicians, and assist with diagnostic procedures.
  • Support patient education and manage medical records and forms.
  • Assist with diagnostic tests, monitor devices, and support patient mobility.
  • Perform front-office duties as needed, including scheduling and insurance verification.
  • Travel to various clinics to support team operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and current LPN license in Louisiana OR Medical Assistant certification (CCMA, RMA, CMA, NCMA).
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
  • Clinical skills in triage, EKGs, injections, venipuncture, and EMR systems.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel between clinics.
