DescriptionAre you a hard-working individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a cook at our busy quick-service restaurant. We need someone who can handle preparing food stations, cooking a high volume of food, and ensuring that all food safety and storage regulations are followed. Our ideal candidate has food industry experience, preferably in fast food, quick service, or fast casual restaurants, and a willingness to learn.
We need a team player who is ready to work alongside other crew members and has excellent time-management skills. If this describes you, apply today!
- Verify the temperature of cooked food using a thermometer to make sure it's safe to consume
- Prepare meals in accordance with the instructions printed on food order tickets or delivered verbally by staff
- Wash, cut, dice, chop, and slice food items to stock prep stations
- Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Sweep, mop, clean countertops, and wipe down all used surface areas at the end of each shift
- Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
- Prior fast food or quick service restaurant industry experience is highly desired
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
- Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements
$10.75 - $13.75 hourly
