Kitchen Assistant (PT) – Claiborne Senior Living, LLC

Full‑time, hourly position located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Reports directly to the Head Chef.

• Assist in meal preparation and cooking, following all recipes and guidelines provided by the Head Chef.
• Prepare and serve meals for residents, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are accommodated.
• Track inventory and supplies; alert the Head Chef when restocking is needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen—wash dishes, clean equipment and surfaces, dispose of waste properly.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, and other dining room equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper storage and handling of food products.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
• Attend regular training and team meetings to stay updated on policies, procedures, and menus.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a kitchen or food service setting preferred (not required).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
