Registered Dental Hygienist

Dr. Eickman and Dr. Johnson of Thief River Falls Family Dentistry are looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team. We would like a high energy team-first person to perform diagnostic, preventive and periodontal therapy. Position is part time with possible increased hours as we grow. • Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatments in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Monitor and record vital signs as part of the patient assessment process.
• Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent contamination.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
