Vehicle Technician

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Specialist Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within an Independent Garage, located in Thirsk.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

• Basic salary of up to around £38,000
• NO Weekend Working
• Monday to Friday: 08:30-17:30, with an hour for lunch.
• Work for a garage with dealership level diagnostic tools and a reputation for fixing things that others can't

The salary of this role is up to £38,000 basic with OTE of £40,000.

Hours of work for this Specialist Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:30 – no weekend working!

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards
• Completing advanced jobs, such as tuning, retro-fitting, engine work, track and race work.

• A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Prior experience within a Garage, or Main Dealer.
• A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
• Dedicated and committed approach.
