Castle Education are working closely with a supportive and community-focused primary school in Thirsk, who are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September for the full academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children, helping them build confidence and creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

• Support pupils across KS1 and KS2
• Work closely with teachers to support classroom activities and learning
• Provide small group and 1:1 support where needed
• Help create a welcoming, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
• Support pupils with their emotional wellbeing, confidence and development
• Encourage children to achieve their full potential both academically and personally

• Has experience working with children or young people
• Is caring, patient and encouraging
• Can adapt to the needs of different pupils
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Is passionate about supporting children and making a positive difference in their education
• Is reliable, enthusiastic and ready to get stuck in!
