Sharp Consultancy are working with a family run business based in Thirsk who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the business.
Joining a small friendly finance team this role will report directly into the finance manager and will ensure the smooth running of the transactional accounts.
Job Duties:- Processing both the sales and purchase ledger for the business
- Preparing and submitting payment runs
- Dealing with invoice queries
- Accounts reconciliation
- Assisting with VAT preparation
- Assisting with preparing weekly cash-flow reports for one business
- Assisting with the preparation of payroll for seasonal staff
- Previous experience of working with a finance role
- Attention to detail
- Worked to timed deadlines
- Microsoft proficient
- Excellent communication skills
- Salary up to £30,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday – 09:00 – 17:00 or 08:30 – 16:30 (flexible working hours)
- 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Free on site parking
