Project Buyer (FTC)

A Leading Subcontractor is looking for a project buyer to assist procurement and expedite a range of materials categories, you will:
Assist with the procurement and expediting of a wide range of construction materials.
Support site teams with operational procurement requirements.
Review and sign off invoices to ensure prompt payment scheme is adhered to.
Manage various internal and external stakeholder requirements.

Further Details    A mixture of framework and project procurement to support regional and some small steel construction projects.
The role will be a mix of site based operational procurement and assisting the supply chain manager with strategic sourcing responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements    Minimum of 2 years operational procurement experience from any leading construction or infrastructure contractor or subcontractor.
Ideally you will currently be working as a project buyer or an experienced buyer who has strong negotiation, supplier management and communication skills.
