About the Role

About the Role
As Assistant Shop Manager, you'll support the Shop Manager in leading a successful, customer-focused charity shop that maximises income to support North Yorkshire Hospice Care. You'll inspire a team of staff and volunteers, drive sales both in-store and online, create an outstanding shopping experience, and help achieve performance targets through excellent merchandising, stock management and commercial awareness. In the Shop Manager's absence, you'll confidently lead the team, ensuring the shop continues to thrive.

About You
You'll be an experienced retail supervisor or team leader who's ready to take the next step into management. Passionate about sustainable retail and delivering exceptional customer service, you'll have strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate others. Organised, adaptable and calm under pressure, you'll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be confident managing targets, merchandising, volunteers and day-to-day shop operations.
