HGV Driver / LGV Cat C+E (Class
1) Driver

The Best Connection is working closely with our client to source additional HGV Class One (C+E) Drivers for their Thirsk operation.

• The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle
• Starting at the Thirsk hub you will be driving across the country to deliver goods using flatbed vehicles.
• Strapping and securing load
• All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
• Achieving delivery slots
• Using website-based delivery scheduling
• Completion of electronic delivery notes and any associated paperwork

• 06.00am - 16.00pm
• Monday to Friday

• C+E (Class One) Licence
• In date CPC and DIGI Card
• Experience using Flatbed trailers preferred

• £14.83 per hour (PAYE) for first 8 hours worked Monday to Friday
• £22.25 per hour after 8 hours per day

• Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
• 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
• CPC Driver Qualification Card
