Job Summary
Paperchase Accountancy is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced  Senior Accountant  to manage end-to-end accounting operations for multiple clients. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in bookkeeping, compliance, financial reporting, and client handling within an accountancy or professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end accounting for assigned clients, including bookkeeping and finalization of accounts
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances; ensure timely filings
Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and control accounts
Prepare and review MIS reports and financial analysis for clients
Coordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve accounting queries
Support audits and liaise with auditors when required
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Mentor and guide junior accountants, as needed

Required

Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com / CA-Inter preferred
4–7 years of relevant experience in an accountancy firm or professional services setup
Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and compliance
Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, Quick Books, or similar
Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to manage client relationships

Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling multiple clients simultaneously
Exposure to international accounting (UK / US) will be an added advantage
Prior experience in mentoring or reviewing junior team members’ work
