Thanal, is looking for a Communication Officer to amplify our voice and connect communities with the message of sustainability.

This role is ideal for someone who believes in the power of communication to inspire action and build change—from the grassroots to the global level.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop compelling content (written & visual) for social media, newsletters, campaigns, and press releases.

* Manage social media accounts and maintain consistent, on-brand communication.

* Support the production of videos, reels, and other multimedia content.

* Assist with event documentation, including photography, videography, and live coverage.

* Collaborate with program teams to highlight field stories, success case studies, and impact reports.

* Maintain and update website/blog content periodically.

* Draft and edit articles, proposals, and communication materials in both English and Malayalam.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or related fields.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malayalam.

* Strong understanding of social media trends and analytics.

* Basic knowledge of video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Cap Cut, or similar) is a plus.

* Creative thinking and ability to tell authentic, people-centric stories.

* A team player with initiative, responsibility, and commitment to environmental causes.
