Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Research Analyst. The Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting market and statistical research, analyzing data, preparing financial reports, and providing insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct research and analysis on mutual funds, equities, and other investment products to evaluate performance, risk, and growth potential.
Analyze stocks held within mutual fund portfolios to understand sector exposure, valuation, and their impact on fund performance.
Evaluate Portfolio Management Services (PMS) including portfolio composition, strategy, and risk-return characteristics.
Track global markets, economic trends, and investment themes to identify potential investment opportunities.
Prepare research reports, fund comparison notes, and presentations for internal teams and management.
Support the investment solutions/advisory team with insights for portfolio construction and optimization.
Monitor fund performance, benchmarks, and key financial indicators to identify outperforming and underperforming strategies.
Assist senior management with strategic research, market analysis, and ad-hoc projects to support business growth.

Qualifications

Graduate in any stream
Postgraduate in Finance / MBA (Finance) preferred
2–3 years of relevant experience as an Analyst in capital markets, investment research, or wealth management

Software & Tools Required   Microsoft Excel (Advanced) – financial analysis, modelling, pivot tables, dashboards
Microsoft PowerPoint – investment presentations and reporting
Microsoft Copilot – research assistance and productivity enhancement
Canva – creating visually appealing research reports and presentations
Morningstar Direct / Value Research / CRISIL – mutual fund and market research
Power BI or Tableau – data visualization and analytics
MS Word / Google Workspace – documentation and reporting
Python or R (basic knowledge) – data analysis and automation (optional)
