About the Role

We're looking for a Product Engineer who sits at the intersection of technology and customer experience. You'll be the person who understands Meetily deeply - its features, its architecture, its deployment scenarios and uses that knowledge to help customers solve real problems.

This isn't a pure support role or a pure engineering role. It's both. You'll spend your time diagnosing technical issues, communicating solutions clearly, and feeding customer insights back into the product. You'll work directly with our product manager and founding team.

If you're someone who enjoys figuring out why something isn't working, explaining it in plain language, and then making sure it gets fixed - this role is for you.

What You'll Do

- Respond to customer queries via email and Whats App — technical troubleshooting, feature guidance, deployment questions
- Diagnose issues across different setups:
Mac, Windows, local AI models (Ollama, Whisper, Parakeet), enterprise deployments
- Understand Meetily's deployment scenarios — on-device, on-premise, offline, and enterprise — and guide customers through them
- Work closely with the product manager to communicate recurring issues, feature gaps, and customer feedback
- Document solutions, update FAQs, and build internal knowledge resources
- Test new features before release and flag issues from a customer's perspective
- Identify patterns across customer problems and surface product improvements

What We're Looking For

Must have:
- Computer Science background (degree or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years in a product engineer, technical support, or related role
- Strong written and verbal communication in English - clear, concise, human
- Genuine curiosity about how software works - you read error messages, you try things, you dig
- Comfortable using AI tools and willing to stay current as they evolve
- Empathy - the ability to understand what a customer is actually frustrated about, not just what they typed

Good to have:
- Familiarity with local AI models (Whisper, Ollama, LLMs)

- Experience with Mac and Windows environments
- Prior exposure to a startup or early-stage product team
- Understanding of privacy-first or on-premise software deployment

Mindset:
- Startup-ready - things move fast, scope changes, you figure it out
- You'd rather solve a problem than escalate it
- You communicate proactively - you don't wait to be asked for updates
