Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Sales Executive role based in Trivandrum. The Senior Sales Executive will drive store sales by engaging customers, understanding their preferences, and offering product recommendations that align with their style, budget, and occasion. Responsibilities include managing the end-to-end sales process, from greeting and needs assessment to product demonstration, upselling, cross-selling, and closing transactions while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
The role involves maintaining visual merchandising standards, overseeing stock availability on the shop floor, and collaborating with store leadership to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. The Senior Sales Executive will also handle customer feedback and service issues, support store events and promotions, and provide input on local market trends and customer insights.
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail or showroom sales, ideally in jewelry, luxury, or lifestyle brands, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Strong customer service, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and guide them through purchase decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and relevant local languages; confident in engaging with diverse customer profiles.
Solid understanding of basic retail operations, including billing, stock handling, visual merchandising, and adherence to store processes and policies.
Comfort with using point-of-sale systems, basic MS Office tools, and digital platforms for product catalog browsing and customer engagement.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per retail requirements.
Attention to detail, professional grooming, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability for store performance and customer experience.
Prior experience in jewelry retail, knowledge of gold, diamonds, gemstones, and certification standards is an advantage.
Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Sales, Retail Management, Business, or a related field
