Job Title: Plater - Experience needed

Location: Thomaston

Shift: 2:00 pm-10:30 pm

• Train all new employees on all safety/housekeeping and production procedures and methods.
• Checks overall quality of work to customer specs and maintain on time delivery standards.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient at interpreting and filling out daily PM sheet and other department paperwork.
• Skilled at making chemical adds to baths and calculating weight of loads.
• Read and verify travelers and piece counts for all jobs.
• Scan customers containers for quality issues before processing.
• Operate an air hoist properly and safely (secure clamps to barrel).
• Maintain accurate department production and safety records, spreadsheets and logs.
• Skilled at starting and shutting down the line.
• Safety and Housekeeping/ Trained to department standards, maintains a safe/clean dept.
• Proficient at running the dryers, cob tumblers and packing containers.
• Capable of reading a SDS and tech sheet and know when to start/stop/change filters.
• Demonstrated high motivational output and speed/proficiency with all the tasks.
• Maintain an outstanding Attendance/Safety record.
• Proficient at using X-Ray machine, gauges and the baking oven.

Pay: $18.01 - $20.04 per hour
