What You’ll Do
As a Motor Assembler
, you’ll be a key part of a skilled manufacturing team responsible for assembling high-quality electric motors used in demanding naval environments.
You will:
- Assemble electric motors and components including stators, rotors, and windings using hand and power tools
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings to complete assembly tasks accurately
- Install and fit components such as bearings, shafts, and brackets with precision
- Perform basic inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet quality standards
- Assist with motor lead wiring and support basic motor testing
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly challenges
- Document completed work and report defects or concerns to supervisors
- Participate in hands-on training programs to build skills and advance within the team
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using basic hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.)
