Midcoast FCU is seeking friendly individuals for our eRelationship Specialist I position in Thomaston to provide direct member support for call activity and other electronic communication channels with accuracy and efficiency.
Selected candidates will be trained to educate our members on products and services that will benefit them in their daily financial management. The position includes a competitive hourly wage, paid holidays and paid time off, full benefits package, educational and advancement potential. Successful candidates must possess exceptional customer services skills, attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidential information. Work is expected to be performed in-person and in a credit union branch location.
Must be able to concentrate in an open work environment, focusing on performing own duties with accuracy and limited distractions.
Requirements:
- Provide friendly and accurate member assistance through phone, online chats, e-mail communication, digital banking applications, as well as other identified assignments to deliver positive, high quality member experiences. Accurately and efficiently complete transactions, file maintenance, and other tasks. Independently assist members with basic account and technology troubleshooting inquires.
- Assess member relationship and offer beneficial aspects of the credit union’s products and services including but not limited to deposit and e-Service products such as mobile and online banking, eAlerts, eStatements, Bill Pay, mobile check deposit, ATM/card services, shared branching, IRA, share certificates, safe deposit boxes, lending products such as consumer loans, credit cards, and understand that we offer home equities and mortgages, as well as ancillary products with our identified partners.
Open sub deposit (CDs, special purpose savings) account types for existing members using digital channels and Docusign options. Adhere to all credit union policies, procedures, and compliance regulations when performing transactions or file maintenance. - Establish positive working relationships across departments and collaborate on initiatives that deepen employee and member experiences by sharing knowledge and building resources. Maintain a growth mindset and take ownership of learning and professional development.

Compensation is commensurate with experience, and a company-wide bonus program is available based upon credit union performance. Skills:
High school or equivalent required.
