Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM / Full-Time

Pay:
Varies based on experience.

Current State Specific LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) License

Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification (can be obtained during orientation)

Minimum of one year paid LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) work experience within the past year of direct patient care in a similar setting

Excellent phlebotomy skills

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will:

• Administer injections, draw labs, complete head to toe assessments including adult, child adolescent and substance abuse individuals.
• Log in/out sample and patient assistance medications.
• Log/dispose of expired medications, complete prior authorizations for medications.
• Re-order prescribed injections, when needed.
• Assist MD/APRN as needed, including taking and entering verbal orders in the electronic health record.
• Educate individuals on medications including adverse reactions, side effects and its benefits.
