Speech Pathologist – Acute Rehabilitation
We are looking for a dedicated Speech Pathologist to provide comprehensive care to patients in our acute rehabilitation program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping patients regain functional communication and swallowing abilities, educate patients and family members, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
DescriptionThis position involves daily patient evaluations, development and implementation of individualized care plans, and direct clinical intervention. You will also provide formal and informal teaching to patients and family members and work closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists.
Responsibilities- Conduct and document patient evaluations for all patient populations.
- Develop and implement tailored plans of care.
- Provide formal and informal teaching to patients and family members.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes according to institutional standards.
- Graduate of an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- License or eligibility for a Georgia license.
- Previous clinical experience (at least one year) is required.
- Strong communication, teaching, and teamwork skills.
