Position
RADIOLOGIC TECH, REGISTERED/GR at Archbold
Position Description- Must be knowledgeable in performance of all routine exams and be familiar with all special exams in all patient categories including infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
- Provide diagnostic x-rays for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients within Diagnostic and Safety Protocols
- Prepare and administer contrast media to patients as ordered
- Maintain infection control procedures
- Utilize Unity, Novious, and PACS
- Maintain current basic education and certifications
- Responsible for meeting institutional requirements
- Implement the use of JCAHO National Patient Safety Goals daily
- Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training at an A.M.A. approved school and meets requirements for registry by A.R.R.T.
- Must be registered, or if a recent graduate, must pass registry
- Must be certified in BLS
