Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with prior travel experience, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certification in Georgia.
Responsibilities- Work in a busy Labor & Delivery unit handling 650-700 deliveries per year
- Responsibilities include triage, labor, Cesarean section OR, and recovery room care
- Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
- Some weekend and holiday shifts required
- Unit uses Cerner EMR system
- Royal blue scrubs required and are not provided
- Minimal to no requested time off is allowed for this assignment
- Must be able to work with a collaborative team in a high-volume setting
- Holiday coverage is required as part of the assignment
- Active GA or compact RN license
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
- Minimum one year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required, with two or more years preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Proficiency in fetal monitoring (intermediate), circulator role, IV starts, and medical screening exams
