Licensed Practical Nurse– 7 North (Inpatient Medical Oncology) Description

• Evaluate data collection and carry out plan of care and established goals.
• Maintain patient flow by recognizing different levels of acuity and prioritizing care.
• Review diagnostic test results and follow up per physician orders.
• Reassess patients as conditions change and notify RN or physician of changes.
• Develop and carry out discharge plans.
• Document all care in the patient's medical record clearly, concisely, completely, and legibly.
• Assist with upkeep of examination rooms as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Hospital Policies and Procedures, and State, Federal, and JCAHO standards.

Current GA LPN License.

• Previous nursing/patient care experience preferred.
