Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Stepdown position requiring a GA or compact RN license, with critical care experience and BLS/ACLS certification.
Responsibilities- Work in an IMCU (Stepdown) unit within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes stepdown level, intermediate care patients
- Day shift available with options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts
- Some weekend and holiday shifts required
- Assignment length is 13 weeks with possible extension
- Responsible for providing stepdown nursing care and managing intermediate acuity patients
- Royal blue scrubs are required and not provided
- Minimal to no requested time off will be approved
- Holiday coverage based on assignment schedule
- Start date is approximately three weeks from offer
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum one year of recent Critical Care and ICU experience required
- Must have experience with IV starts, lab draws, sample collecting, and titrating critical drips
- Two references required for consideration
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 30 miles from the facility
