Wastewater Collections Foreman

WASTEWATER COLLECTIONS FOREMAN – SONS' INDIA SOFTWARE PVT. LTD.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Foreman to oversee wastewater collections projects. This role requires strong leadership, safety awareness, and technical knowledge of pumping station and main line operations.

Employee is responsible for ensuring completion of assigned service requests and work orders. This position is also responsible for ensuring that all assigned work is completed in a safe and timely manner. The Foreman will install mains, services, manholes and other components of the wastewater collection system.

• Supervise assigned crew members and ensure safe and timely completion of work on the job site.
• Complete all assigned service requests, work orders, and tasks.
• Train crew members on day‑to‑day tasks and basic crew functions.
• Coordinate procurement of all materials for a job site through the supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance, checks and services of all assigned equipment, tractors and vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records with the asset management program.
• Set up job sites to ensure safety of all personnel (i.e., DOT job site set up, cones, proper signage, barricades, etc.).
• Install and repair assets within the wastewater collection system.
• Work abnormal hours due to emergencies or natural disaster response, as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Head or Supervisor.

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of excavating and trenching operations.
• Knowledge of construction site safety.
• Knowledge of 811 safe digging and local ordinances and state laws pertaining to excavating and trenching.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, understand and implement blueprints, maps and engineering plans and specifications.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of wastewater collection systems and construction of wastewater collection systems.
• Three years of wastewater collection system experience.

The job may involve working in high/low temperatures, dust, fumes, wet environments, and hazardous machinery. It may also involve confined spaces with wastewater, gases, and odor. The position requires mental endurance and the ability to handle stress.
