Jones Welding & Industrial Supply, Inc is looking for a Warehouse worker and Delivery Driver to join our team! In the warehouse you will be assisting the store manager with orders and order fulfillment, along with making sure things are organized and correctly displayed throughout the store.

In the hot shot Delivery Driver portion of the position, you are a key member of the team! You are responsible for delivering smaller local orders of welding goods and cylinders to our clients. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy helping people. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis. Computer skills are needed along with the customer service skills. Multitasking is important!

• Working with the inside sales team
• Welding knowledge is a major plus!
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• 1-2 years of delivery or warehouse preferred
• Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., box truck and express van
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
