Dental Assistant Full-Time- TRIAD KIDS DENTAL (THOMASVILLE)

CERTIFICATIONS: CDA or RDA required, X-ray certification preferred

EXPERIENCE:Must have Dental Assistant certification

JOB TYPE:Full-time

SCHEDULE:MONDAY-FRIDAY

PAY:Starting at $

BONUS PAY:up to $500 additional per month

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
• Takeand process dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take impressions of the patient's teeth(models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
• Askabout the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
