Position at Thomasville Medical Center – 1st Shift Mon-Wed 8:30a‑6:00pm, Thurs‑7:30‑5:00pm.

• Education: High school diploma required. Associate’s degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of radiology required. For inpatient positions, graduate of a JCERT‑accredited school of radiology or military health system program. If not currently mammography‑registered and in a mammography tech role, the incumbent must complete ARRT post‑primary certification in mammography within 18 months of approval date. All new hires must complete ARRT post‑primary certification in mammography within 12 months of hire.
• Experience: One year experience in mammography scanning preferred.
• Licensure/certification/registration: ARRT, CPR required. Applicable state licensure as required. Mammography registry (ARRT (M)) in good standing or mammography registry‑eligible through ARRT required.
• Additional skills required: Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt procedures based on patient age, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements relative to their age‐specific needs, preparation of patients for procedures, and operation of mammography equipment.
