  Thomasville, Kernersville, and Winston‑Salem

As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our orthopedic patients—making a lasting impression with every interaction.

• Greet and check in patients for orthopedic appointments
• Schedule follow‑up visits and manage referrals
• Verify insurance and process patient registration
• Support providers and medical teams to keep clinic flow smooth and efficient

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Experience:
  
  One year of clerical experience in a medical office setting (required); other related experience may be considered
• Knowledge of medical office software—patient demographics, posting charges, copays, scheduling appointments
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with changing priorities, strong organizational, problem‑solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and function as part of a team
• Basic medical terminology and high level of working knowledge of EPIC systems
• Detailed knowledge of multiple payor billing requirements and familiarity with coding requirements for practice specialty

• Proficiency in the use of all computer software utilized in practice
