Quanex is looking for a Process Technician- 2nd shift to join our team located in Thomasville, NC.
The Process Technician is a senior-level role responsible for setting up molds and configuring injection molding machines for optimal performance. This position is Monday
- Thursday 2:00 pm - 12:00 am.

- Sets up and operates assigned machines to ensure consistent compliance with production goals.
- Install molds into injection molding machines according to production specifications.
- Configure and fine-tune molding parameters to optimize machine performance and product quality.
- Monitor production runs and proactively identify and resolve issues.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure components meet quality standards. - Collaborate with engineering, production, and leadership teams to address process-related concerns.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience with machine setup, operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of injection molding machines preferred but not required.
The hourly wage for this position is $21.00/hr plus $.50 shift differential.
