Quanex is looking for Assemblers-1st shift to join our team located in Thomasville NC.
The Assembler is responsible for operating a multiple port – turn style automatic screw dispensing machine, loading individual parts for attachment. 1st shift hours are 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.

- Run machines, including set up and basic troubleshooting.
- Adjust machine and product settings to maintain product specifications and part dimensions.
- Responsible for maintaining and adhering to the quality standards.
- Responsible for collecting and reporting scrap.
- Fill out inspection and or TPM reports.
- Follow all safety procedures, rules and guidelines.
- Keep the machine operation area neat, clean, and orderly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Able to sit for extended periods of time.
The hourly wage for this position is $16.00 per hour.
