Material Handler-2nd Shift

Quanex is looking for a material handler (2nd Shift) located in Thomasville, NC
. The shift runs Monday-Thursday 2:00 PM–12:00 AM.

• Follow all safety procedures, rules and guidelines.
• Review production board for scheduled work and confirm production runs.
• Inspect parts according to the specifications for quality, color, fit, form and function.
• Responsible for sorting parts for up to 12 machines per shift.
• Store materials in designated locations, ensuring they are properly organized and easily accessible.
• Keep the sorting area neat, clean and orderly.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Capability to stand for extended periods of time.

The hourly wage for this position is $16.00/hr plus $0.50/hr shift differential.
