Print Press Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of print production processes.

• Set up and operate printing presses for various print jobs, including print advertising materials.
• Monitor press operations to ensure quality control throughout the printing process.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with prepress teams to ensure accurate file preparation and color management.
• Utilize graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite, to assist with design elements as needed.
• Operate forklifts safely to transport materials and finished products within the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

• Proficiency in print advertising techniques and processes.
• Experience with machining and CNC operations is a plus.
• Strong understanding of prepress procedures and color management principles.
• Familiarity with quality control standards in the printing industry.
• Competence in using Adobe Creative Suite for design adjustments and enhancements.
• Ability to operate press machinery efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• 3+ years of machine operation experience in manufacturing
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime
• Color vision and visual acuity (screening required)
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Flexographic printing experience is a plus
