Deliver strong customer service at Giant Tiger in Thompson while operating electronic cash registers and maintaining an organized checkout area. This part-time position includes days, evenings, and weekends.
As a Hardgoods Associate, you will support checkout operations and merchandise availability at Giant Tiger. The work includes recording transactions, replenishing checkout merchandise, completing markdowns, and maintaining planograms. Attention to detail, communication, and teamwork support consistent store standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Record transactions accurately at mainline and self checkouts
- Replenish merchandise around the checkout area
- Complete markdowns and SKU changes when needed
- Maintain planograms, labels, tickets, and signing standards
- Follow tobacco, lottery, health, safety, and loss prevention policies
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to handle varied tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 18 kilograms, and operate equipment
Support Giant Tiger customers through accurate checkout transactions, merchandise replenishment, and dependable service in Thompson.
