Automotive Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership procedures.
• Diagnose, determine root causes, and repair technical and mechanical vehicle issues.
• Identify any additional safety or service work required through vehicle inspections.
• Test drive vehicles and test components to confirm customer complaints and validate successful repairs.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Communicate directly with the Service Manager/Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needed.
• Provide estimates of time required for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

We provide training through orientation, self‑assessments, coaching sessions, and demonstrations with managers.

• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 3–5 years of dealership experience.
• Automotive Service Technician Certification of Qualification Level3 or equivalent;
  Red Seal Certification is an asset.
• Strong aptitude in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Effective diagnostic aptitude and strong time‑management skills.
• Detailed customer‑centric approach and ability to work as a team player.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fast, eager learner and team player.
